Toe Nail
For showing a complete beautiful outfit, attractive toe nails are very important. Toe nails are the nails which are on the digits of the human feet. Toenails contain a protein, namely keratin. Toe nails have a slow growth rate as compared to the growth rate of the finger nails. Toe nails are completely grown in about twelve to eighteen months. Some people have bib toenails while some have short toenails. Big toenails grow at a faster rate than the short toenails. These nails are more prone to fungal infection. Always pare the toenails in a straight manner. Toenail problems occur due to several reasons as insufficient care, trauma, wearing tight shoes and socks, improper trimming of toe nails and many more. The most common problem with the toenails is the ingrown toenail. Some people trim or pare the toenail very short, it is one of the reasons of ingrown toenail. By regularly wearing tight or short shoes, this problem can easily occur. In starting ingrown toenail is appeared hard and swollen. Later on, nails become red and little more infected. At times, tallow or brown pus is also seen. This problem can be easily treated by following soma tips. Everyday three or four times, wash the feet with the help of warm water and rinse with a soft and clean towel. Always buy comfortable shoes that allow the toenails to be expanded completely. After applying these steps, if there is no improvement is seen, then go to the doctor. Some surgical methods are used by the doctors to improve the condition of the infected toenail.
If by wearing tight shoes or due to some other reasons, your toenail may infect then use some home remedies to prevent the toenails from further infection. Tea tree oil works best for the toe nail problems. Make a mixture by taking a little undiluted tea tree oil and add some drops of olive oil to it. On the infected toe nails, apply the mixture and feel the amazing results. Use Listerine mouthwash to wash the affected toe nails. The other method is that prepare a mixture of warm water and apple cider vinegar. Immerse the toenails for 15-20 minutes in the water mixture. Then, rinse the feet in a proper way by using a soft and clean cloth or towel. There is an effective method which also works well for the toenail problems. Add few drops of lavender oil in tea tree oil and apply this mixture on the toenails 3-4 times daily. You can get rid from the toenail fungus very soon.
