Nail Gun

Nail gun is basically used for make a little opening in the wood or in any other material so that a nail is inserted in that opening or in simple means, nail gun is made, so that the nails are inserted in the materials without the use of hammers. Nail gun allow the nails to be mounted very easily as compare the use of hammers. Nail gun is an automatic weapon that can frame and roofing nails in just few minutes with a little effort. Many types of nail guns are used by the nail gun drivers. Some of the nail guns are based on the principle of electromagnetism that uses compressed air, highly flammable gases, powder actuated tools and a small explosive charge. The nail guns allowed the nails to be mounted in long ribbon in the material. The gaps between the nails in a long strip can be increased or decreased at the time of driving nails. For this purpose, nail clippers are also used by some professionals. For inserting small nails, smaller nail gun has been used that drive the nails without inserting the head. Some of the smaller nail guns are brad nailers, pin nailers and bradders. Finish nailers are the guns that are used to mount the nails of different sizes with small heads. For driving the nails have length between 1.5” to 2.5”, straps nailers have been used by the nail gun drivers. For mounting nails that have a length of 6.25 inches, nail drivers use the framing nailers.

There are two types of nail guns are used for driving the nails. In the first type of the nail gun, firstly the nail gun is pressed at the particular area where the nails have to be mounted and then the trigger is pressed and the nails are mounted. This process is repeated during the further nail driving processes. The working of second type of gun is quite different. Firstly, the trigger is depressed and than the nail gun is pressed against the particular area of the material where the nails are required to be mounted. As the nail gun is pressed, a nail strip is mounted and this process is repeated as many times the nail gun driver wants to insert the nails. For making nail strips in tight strips, palm nailer works best.  Nail gun drivers have full control over the nail gun while driving the nails. While mounting nails with a nail gun, there may be chances of a double shot. So, a nail gun driver has to be very careful and attentive during the nail driving process. He has to apply a proper pressure on the face so that the nail should be inserted in a proper way. During the process a nail gun driver has to wear safety glasses. Avoid using old nails. Proper maintenance and lubrication of nail gun is important.
