Long Nail

All women want that they have long, healthy nails. Fingernails have four times greater growth rate as compare to the growth rate of the toenails. Fingernails show their full growth in about four to six months and the toenails takes about twelve to eighteen months to grow in a complete manner. In summer, the nail growth rate is faster as compare to winter season. The nail growth rate of the men’s is quite fast than the nail growth rate of the women’s. Some women have brittle nails, some have slow growth rates and some women have some other nail problems.  To have a long natural nail is not an easy procedure. It is quite difficult to grow long nails and to maintain the long nails. Nail growth also depends on the diet.

Try some tips which surely prove helpful in increasing the nail growth. Take a diet that is rich in iron, calcium, vitamin B and in potassium. Vitamin B proves very good for the growth of the nails. Some other good foods are seafood, eggs, garlic, almonds, yogurt and spinach celery. Everyday each six almonds and see the result on your nails. Drink as much water in a day as you can. Avoid using perfumes on the nails because perfumes contain alcohol that is not good for nails. Never filed the corners of the nails. Because if the nails are filed, then their strength is decreased and they may easily break. Chafe the nails of both the hands for 5-10 minutes everyday. This will increase the blood circulation and the growth rate is also increased. Avoid using nail care products containing strong chemicals. While going in the sun, apply a sun block cream on the nails so that the sun rays don’t weaken the strength of the nails. Each day, before sleeping, apply a hand moisturizer on both the hands. If a person has a habit of nail biting, then he or she can apply a paste on the nails that is composed by boiling the leaves of fresh aloe. By using an olive oil or some other massage oil, gently massage the nails for about 10-15 minutes daily. Some precautions are also followed by the people who want to have a long, shiny, healthy nails. While washing utensils or doing any other home activities, wear gloves in the hands so that the nails are preventing from breaking. Long nails may be broken very easily. Don’t go for too long nails, it is quite difficult to maintain the very long nails. Always keep a stroke of nail polish on your nails so that they are protected from many nail problems. Never use your nails as tools. This act can weaken and broken the nails. Every day, before going to bed, do a gentle massage of the nails by using moisturizer. Apply these simple tips and show the amazing results on your nails.
